"I met Ian at a time when i wanted to make some major changes in my life. I had heard that there was a Saturday morning bootcamp being held at the park right up the street from where I live. I had just recently started running, and thought why not give this a try, and step things up a bit. It couldn't have been more convenient. Quite honestly, I thought exercising would be one of those passing thoughts, I would get frustrated that I couldn't do it, and be back to being a couch potato, eating everything unhealthy in sight. It was quite the
opposite. The class was inviting, challenging, and motivating. And much to my surprise, I looked forward to going every week. I started seeing changes in my body and my energy level was higher than it had been in many years. People around me started seeing the changes, and the day came that I got to clean out my closet and I was able to replace all my clothes with a smaller size. What can be better for your self esteem?! When bootcamp came to an end, surprisingly to myself, a person who had lived an unhealthy lifestyle for most of my adult life, I was hooked, and stayed on training with Ian. It's been almost a year now, and I am a totally different person. I'm more confident and I look better and feel better than I have in years. I have tried different things in the past to lose weight and to get healthier, but nothing kept my interest for very long. Ian is truly an inspiration, who takes it personal, is accommodating and inspires me to push myself to be a better me. He really cares, and has become a good friend and
mentor. As I continue to set goals for myself, I am thankful that he will be there to help me achieve them, and I am grateful for the impact he has had on my life."
